Mission Statement

• Provide health services that will assist Graham County citizens to prevent disease, maintain health, and promote wellness.
• Provide leadership for the identification of unmet health needs of Graham County citizens and to facilitate solutions to these problems.
• Facilitate quality service delivery in a manner that is timely, flexible, convenient, non-discriminatory, and cost-effective for clients.
• Cooperate with other community service agencies and organizations to improve and advance the quality of life in Graham County.
• Foster a work environment that will provide staff development and job satisfaction, promote teamwork, and encourage leadership in public health.
• Maintain fiscal responsibility, professional work ethics, and high standards of care in the health department.
